Info centres in Heidenau and Ústí nad Labem are open for all those interested in finding out more about the new Dresden – Prague line.
Info centre Heidenau
In May 2023, Deutsche Bahn opened a new info centre with more than 200 square meters for the high-speed line project from Dresden to Prague. Visitors can look forward to a multimedia exhibition presenting the construction process of the Erzgebirgstunnel, the geological background of the region, an interactive map, showing the route development process on German territory, details of Czech-German cooperation and much more. For larger groups or regional events, it is possible to arrange a visit to the Information centre outside opening hours.

Info centre Ústí nad Labem
The Railway Administration has opened an information centre for the public on the planned Dresden – Prague high-speed line in spring 2022. Visitors can find it in the underpass of the main station in Ústí nad Labem, where trained staff will answer their questions. In addition to information panels focusing on the individual parts of the high-speed line construction, there is also a 3D model of the Erzgebirge, examples of drilled rocks and other information on the preparation of individual sections, artificial structures (bridges, tunnels) or economic benefits. There is also a model railway track in the underpass for everybody to enjoy, not only for children.

#VRTmobil
The mobile info centre called VRTmobil regularly goes to regions in Czechia to bring the preparation of the high-speed line closer to the people surrounding them. The VRTmobil is equipped with audio-visual technology and, in addition to information and promotional materials, it also offers visitors facilities for discussion with experts.
