Joint dialogue for customers and partners
We met with representatives of collaborating institutions as part of the Customer dialogue 2024 workshop held at the Clarion hotel in Ústí nad Labem on 6th November 2024, with some 50 experts from Germany and the Czech Republic attending.
The workshop was organized by Správa železnic and DB InfraGO to focus on the new Dresden-Prague highspeed line. The project as a whole was introduced, especially the areas around the Ore Mountains tunnel, as well as the concept for operations, infrastructure measures, and expected traffic closures.
To go over specific details, so-called “expert zones” were set up where representatives of both investors could explain the plans to the representatives of freight transporters using maps and blueprints. Topics discussed included future rail lines, train lengths, traffic closures, the traction network, and inclines.
On the Czech side, we also asked freight transporters to complete a detailed questionnaire so we could better understand their wants and needs. And we’re looking forward to meeting everyone again once the project progresses.
